Kate Pendry’s award-winning, one-woman, one-camera play examines ambition, opportunism, and forgoing your principles.

Pendry delivers a solo act that packs Hollywood drama and dark comedy, while also revealing the inner circles of power, and the media’s appetite for war. The play zooms in on an actor’s breakthrough moment: Kate Pendry is suddenly offered a part in a Robert De Niro film – directed by an associate of Vladimir Putin. Then the pandemic hits. Next, the war in Ukraine.

Kate Pendry is an actress and playwright from London, now living and working in Oslo. Renowned for her political and controversial works, she has written and produced over fifty pieces for the theatre, alongside numerous electronic artworks and radio productions.
