The Finnish-Norwegian Cultural Institute is looking for two interns for 2027.

We are offering two positions funded by the Finnish National Agency for Education and the Swedish Cultural Foundation in Finland:

EDUFI traineeship
11.1.-10.6.2027 (5 months)

International internship, International Swedish Cultural Foundation
1.1–31.12.2027 (12 months)

The Swedish Cultural Foundation’s internship programme is aimed at students who have Swedish as their mother tongue or as the language of their studies.

Our internships are particularly suited to students of cultural production, communication, and other humanities subjects. Students from other fields of study are also welcome to apply. Tasks include a wide range of activities within communication and cultural production, among other areas.

We are looking for candidates who are prepared to work in a multilingual environment. Within our team, we use Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish flexibly. When interacting with partners, we use English, Finnish, Norwegian, and Swedish.

The Institute’s offices are located in a shared, activity-based workspace alongside other organisations. The premises are partially accessible. Our office, shared kitchen, meeting room and restrooms are located on the second floor, which is accessible by lift. However, the area outside the main entrance is cobbled, which may present difficulties for individuals using wheelchairs or other mobility aids.
