Are you finishing your studies or are you a recent graduate in communication studies, cultural management or art studies? The Finnish-Norwegian Cultural Institute is looking for a new EDUFI intern for the time period 12.8.2024-13.6.2025.
EDUFI internship is meant for students in higher education and recently graduated higher education students. The Finnish National Agency for Education provides a grant for the internship.
We promote cooperation, dialogue and mobility between professional art and cultural practitioners in Finland and Norway. We foster networks among cultural professionals and our activities include project and program work (including events for the public and/or professionals). We promote equality and diversity in all our activities and aim to make voices of the cultural and artistic community heard on a broad scale.
Your work as an intern is of great importance for the small cultural institute and we value your skills and opinions. The internship provides a diverse experience of cultural exchange and international cooperation.
The institute’s areas of operation are Norway, Finland and Sápmi. In 2024-2025, our priorities include developing cooperation in the northern regions of the countries and working with the European Capitals of Culture Bodø 2024 and Oulu 2026.

Requirements
We are looking for an intern, who is finishing their studies or has recently graduated. The internship is particularly suitable for students of communication studies, cultural management and art studies. The intern is expected to have an interest in culture and the creative industries. Knowledge of the Finnish cultural and arts sector and experience in communication, especially social media trends and event coordination are considered advantages. We value an eye for visual communication and hope that the intern has experience in photo editing programs and communication tools (Adobe, WordPress, MailChimp).
We require the intern to have the ability to communicate in Finnish or one of the Scandinavian languages. The working languages are Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish and English. CV and cover letter should be written in any of the mentioned languages. Since we operate in Sápmi, knowledge is any of the Sámi languages is considered an advantage.
