Walking within the frame is a performance in which the audience goes on a nature walk in the forest areas around Bodøsjøen. Each member of the audience will be given a mobile phone at the beginning of the performance, and this phone will act as their walking companion, guide and performer. The audience will experience the performance at the same time, and they will walk both alone and together.
In Walking within the frame, the phone, the walk and nature are all part of the same experience. They intertwine, disrupt, strengthen and transform each other. The artistic directors of the performance are award winning performance artist Maria Oiva and Norwegian Finnish performance artist Kristina Junttila. The performance is developed in co-operation with interactive maps developer Zoneatlas.
