Stephanie Owusu is the Social Media & Digital Marketing Manager of Sony Music Norway and the founder of the AFRONORDIC initiative. She will speak at the first-ever Afro Nordic Summit in Helsinki, Finland.
Afro Nordic Summit is a music business summit that will be held for the first time in Helsinki on Friday, 27 September at Hotel Hobo. The summit focuses on raising awareness about growing the African music market and the music business. Its goal is to bridge the gap about the African music market and showcase the African diaspora in Finland to both local and international audiences. The program includes panel discussions, roundtable discussions, and showcase performances by artists and international DJs.
The summit is organised by Marmori Entertainment Oy and inspired by AFRONORDIC founded by Stephanie Owusu. Owusu’s African music industry and culture event was produced in collaboration with Music Norway in the fall of 2023. More information about the summit can be found on their website.
Stephanie Owusu is renowned in the Norwegian music industry for her innovative ideas, strategies, and expansive international network. Owusu currently works across PR and marketing and will head a new department at Sony Music Norway, focusing on PR, social media, and brand partnerships.
