PARTir – Creating a Cultural Roadmap Towards Responsible International Mobility is a collaborative project between the Finnish Cultural and Academic Institutes Association and ten Finnish cultural and academic institutes during the years 2024–2025.
The programme kicks off in May and the first projects of pARTir take place in Paris, London, Kåfjord and Tartu during the summer. You can find the projects collectively on the pARTir program page, which will be updated as the initiative progresses.
PARTir promotes the sustainable and long-term internationalization of Finnish art and strengthens the common operating models of the institute network. The project, lasting until 2025, supports artists’ international mobility, cultural export and exchange by producing around 30 sustainably produced performances, exhibitions and other works together with partnering international art organizations.
The program strengthens and consolidates ecologically and socially sustainable working methods and practices for international mobility, cultural export and exchange.
The participating Finnish cultural and academic institutes in the PARTir project are FinnAgora – Finnish Institute in Hungary, Finnish Institute in Benelux, Finnish Institute in the UK and Ireland, Finnish Institute in Japan, Finnish Institute in Madrid, Finnish Cultural Institute in New York, Finnish-Norwegian Cultural Institute FINNO, Finnish Institute in France, Finnish Institute in Germany, and Finnish Institute in Estonia.
PARTir is funded by the European Union’s NextGenerationEU initiative.
