In celebration of the Jazz in Finland 100 anniversary year, the showcase presented contemporary Finnish jazz music to international industry professionals and audiences. The aim of the program was to highlight Finnish jazz professionals and strengthen the international networks of the Finnish jazz scene.
The program included ten Finnish showcase performers selected by experts alongside engaging panel discussions and tailored side events for professional attendees. The featured performers included Lassy–Eskola Nordic Stew, Pauli Lyytinen and Selma Savolainen in the shade, among others.
International professionals such as Øyvind Larsen from Nasjonal Jazzscene, Frank van Berkel from BIMHUIS, and Sunna Gunnlaugsdottir from Sólfinna participated as panellists in the discussion “The Future of Jazz Export and International Collaboration.”
